“Is this correct?” “Like this can or not?” All of which were questions asked by students when I taught Art at a Junior College. Majority assumed that there is one answer, some definite truth and anything else are all wrong. Fixated to the idea of achieving only the right answers, they were uneasy with being different and were afraid of making mistakes. It is unfathomable that we, as different individuals, believe that there is this one formula to success that is applicable to everyone. “Why is there a need for my answer?” “Why is there a need to conform­­?” All of which were questions I asked my students.
